What Magic Springs offers

Magic Springs brings rides, water attractions and an outdoor concert venue together at one park. Its Timberwood Amphitheater hosts the annual Summer Concert Series, with concerts included in park admission or a season pass.

The water park includes Kodiak Canyon Adventure River, Seven Falls slides, a 350,000-gallon wave pool, Splash Island, Bear Cub Bend and Grizzly Creek Splash Zone. In October, the park also offers a seasonal Halloween festival for all ages.

The park first opened in 1978 as Magic Springs Family Fun Park. It closed in 1995 and was purchased at a foreclosure auction later that year.

Magic Springs has seasonal offerings, but its operating days and hours can change, and the water park may keep different hours from the theme park.

The annual Summer Concert Series and October Halloween festival provide recurring seasonal highlights. Don’t assume both parks or all attractions will be operating on the same day; check the official site before you go.

What should you know about tickets and attractions?

Children age 3 and younger are admitted free and don’t need a pass. The park’s ticket and pass terms, parking fees and attraction availability can vary, so confirm the current details before planning your visit.

Height restrictions are posted at each attraction. You can also find the restriction list at Guest Services by the front admission gate. Pets aren’t permitted, except service animals; service animals can’t go on rides or in pools. Outside food and drinks are generally not allowed, with exceptions on select Sundays during the season.

During the October Halloween event, water-park attractions are closed, and the Log Flume does not operate because its location is used for a haunted house. Keep that seasonal change in mind if you’re deciding when to go.
